SA:Libs back change to travel rules in SA

ADELAIDE, Jan 13 AAP - The South Australian opposition wants to stop MPs taking family
members other than a spouse on overseas trips.

In a submission to a review of state parliamentary travel allowances, the Liberals
say they can see no reason why children, even adult children, should be allowed to travel
at taxpayers' expense.

They say the provision that allows an MP to take a parent with them overseas, if they
have no spouse or children, should also be abolished.
